It is true...when you are in awe of what God bestows upon you...you move toward more thankfulness and awe. It is a good place to reside, especially when so many challenges surround us today. We can choose to rise up to the challenges and remain in an attitude of gratitude...or allow defeat to overtake our ambitions. It doesn't matter which path we choose, we get that which we seek out. Summer Bean Salad
2 can (11 oz. each) mandarin orange, drained
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans or chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 tsp. Watkins Parsley
1/2 cup Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1- 2 tsp. Watkins Mandarin Orange Fruit Dip Mix
In a large bowl, combine the oranges, beans, green pepper and onion. In a container with tight fitting lid, combine remaining ingredients and shake well.
Pour over salad and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Yield: 6 servings.
Confetti Broccoli Slaw
1 package (12 oz) broccoli coleslaw mix
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. Watkins Sea Salt
1/4 tsp. Watkins Black Pepper
Dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
2 TBSP cider vinegar
2 TBSP ketchup
1 TBSP Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
1-1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. Watkins Paprika
1/8 tsp. Watkins Black Pepper
1/8 tsp. Watkins Sea Salt
Dash Watkins Garlic Granules
Dash hot pepper sauce
